Objectives/Goals

The client's need was to protect the WEEE centre (Waste of Electric and Electronic Equipment) with a modern and elegant, high-security and easy-to-install fencing system. In addition to the passive protection granted by Recintha Safety provided with anti-cut and anti-climb mesh and designed with a fully anti-theft post/panel fixing system, the client opted to add the exclusive MACS sensor active safety option too, connected to the alarm system, to reach higher levels of effectiveness.

Description

WEEE centers are essential for the sustainable handling of electric and electronic waste (i/e devices such as cell phones, computers, televisions). They protect the environment by recovering precious resources (metals such as gold, copper, silver, palladium and rhodium), reducing waste and promoting regulatory compliance and environmental education.

Unfortunately, the WEEE centers are often victims of theft and vandalism.

For this reason, the client's instructions were clear: to put an end to the chain of criminal events that had affected his deposit in recent months. Nuova Defim's perimeter solution MACS Recintha Safety was therefore chosen, the alarmed, intelligent and high-security fence.
